The Round Table No.3 - COP21 and Global Value Chains Heads, was at the initiative of EURAM, European congress management existing for about 15 years, which brings together professionals, experts and researchers in management of business schools. It was animated by Madam Pascale DE ROZARIO,Sociologist HDR at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (UMR CNRS Lise) and Director of European projects Research & Development.
This round table was entitled "Business for Society" and addressed the global chains of value in a multidisciplinary way. The problematic was the creation of value and its meaning in the context of the challenges of COP21. Speakers of these round table have examined the responsibility of global chains of value and have addressed the question through three innovative initiatives.
- "COP21 : "Recognize the Environment as a Stakeholder", Mister Jean-Pierre NOBLET, (Researcher at Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Commerciales d'Angers (Essca), works on ethics). He presented a study made with wine producers from Saumur Champigny who want to be more sustainable. This study shows the emergence of local initiatives of the "civil society".
- "Sanitation at Intersection of Public Policy of Soil and Water" , Mister Olivier FOUCHE-GROBLA ( Lecturer at Le CNAM, Hydrologist and a member of the laboratory in the Ecole des Ponts ParisTech. He spoke about the public policy of non-collective sanitation wastewater, adopted by the State that addresses himself to users by empowering and equipping them.
- " Global Value Chains: Towards a more Responsible Governance?", Madam Laurence BEIERLEIN (Researcher at the Paris-Est Creteil University ). She has addressed international initiatives took after fires of factories in Bangladesh which led to the signing of an international agreement to restore work rules and protection rules in companies.
