Classification by pertinence according to the performance issue
The last analyse is made through the classification of indicators according to their pertinence for each performance issue. This time all indicators are related to the six performance issues. For this purpose, the following indices are used:
4 = direct pertinence; 2 = indirect pertinence; 0 = no pertinence at all
The classification shows a list of all combined indicators having relevant relationships, indirect or no relationship with each performance issue. Nevertheless, it doesn’t give priority among indicators as could be seen with the previous analysis.
The table below shows that plans for renewable energy, people participation and social cohesion performance issues have the lowest quantity of pertinent indicators from all 46 indicators proposed in this case study. By contrast indigenous people's living conditions and natural resources administration and economics have the highest number of pertinent indicators. Health of the environment and preservation of the traditional relationship between people and nature performance issues have a non-negligible number of pertinent indicators but also a high number of indicators with no pertinence.
