Yoann VERGER got an Industrial Engineering degree from the engineering school INSA Lyon in 2011. He then completed a Masters in Engineering and Management of the Environment and Sustainable Development at the Technologies University of Troyes (UTT) and completed his master thesis about the definition of territorial sustainability and implementation of this concept in biorefineries projects in 2012. He joined the international reasearch center REEDS on the beginning of September 2012, currently doing a PhD under the direction of Martin O'Connor on the territorial integration of biorefineries. More specifically, he wants to assess the conditions enhancing deployment of biorefineries in the territories and find possibilities to integrate the concept of industrial ecology, to ensure both sustainability and relevance of this type of project in the context of territorial innovation.
