MERINO SAUM Albert
IDENTITY

Albert MERINO-SAUM is a doctoral student and contracted teacher at REEDS. With a Master in Law and a Master in Economics he has now concentrated his studies more on Ecological Economics (M1 at the UniversityAutonomeof Barcelona at the same time with a diploma in environmental law, then a Master 2 at the UVSQ. His thesis: How to live with fire in the Mediterranean region? A multi-criteria and multi-scenario participative approach, is supervised by Professor Martin O’Connor. His research pivots on environmental evaluation, the study of socio-ecological conflicts, risk management, multi-criteria participative analyses, and integrated scenarios. Since 2006, he has worked as teacher of Economics at the UVSQ. Albert currently has a key role in the teaching of Micro-Economics in the second year bachelor degree. Since September 2012, he has also been involved as a tutor for the Sustainability Studies SUST 3T degree in partnership with Albion College (Albion, Michigan, USA). He is theManaging Editor of the International Journal of Sustainable Development (IJSD) since 2009.
