Kleber PINTO SILVA is an urban architect who specializes in healthy spaces. He gained a “Mestrado” in archi-tecture 1993 on the connections between urban living and healthy spaces. In 1999 he completed his PhD at the University of São Paulo, his thesis concerning architecture and health. During 1987-20002 he taught theory and practice of architectural projects at the faculty of architecture at the UNESP (Brazil). A master of experimental work, he exercised this as director of heritage real estate for the UVSQ during 2004-2011. In the process of this he managed several projects of which the project contract required the improvement of energy efficiency of the university campus as well as for the construction of the UFR of Health Sciences. Since 2011, Kleber has been a lecturer at the UVSQ. As head of the department of civil engineering at the IUT Mantes-en-Yvleines, he manages the day to day running of the teaching courses in eco-construction-sustainable real estate.
