Sophie NEMOZ has a Ph.D. in sociology from the University Paris Descartes. She pursued a post-doctorate in the Institute for Environmental Management and Land-use Planning at the University of Brussels. Her researches deal with the contemporary changes in the housing sector and the innovative processes at different territorial scales. In France and internationally, she has published on the issues of student housing, the development of intergenerational housing, the environmental reform and change practices of construction as well as the ways of living, the rebound effects linked to energy efficiency, the governance of sustainable city and its implications for social justice. Sophie Némoz carries out her researches within REEDS and the international chair in eco-innovation. She is the professor in charge of the module of social acceptance in the master “management of eco-innovation” and she also teaches in the professional masters of OVSQ: “Sustainable construction and eco-districts”, “energy and urban mobility”.
