Rima HAWI is a Lecturer in Economic Sciences at the IUT Vélizy, Rambouillet site. Specialised in the history of economic thought, her research work concerns the field of economic ethics, particularly social justice theories. Rima Hawi favours a pluridisciplinary approach to economic problems associating approaches and philosophies of language, of ethics and sociologie. It’s in this area that she studied The theory of John Rawls in the light of the economy, title of her thesis, accepted in may 2011. After having been given responsibilities at the TD at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon- La Sorbonne, ATER at the University of Paris 13-Villetaneuse then that of Evry, she became contracted lecturer at the University of Versailles Saint-Quentin en Yvelines, in the intervening time , since September 2012 as well as lecturer at IUT Vélizy in the TD department and Marketor.
