IDENTITY

Jean Pierre Doussoulin is an agronomic engineer. In 2006, he graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile in Santiago where he obtained a degree in Agricultural Economics and Wine Production. He then enrolled for a Masters degree in Sustainable Economy with Agroparistech in France, which he obtained in 2012. Part of this program involved an internship in the International Research Center on Environment and Development (CIRED-CNRS) in Paris, an experience which would definitely convince him to deep even further within the Ecological Economics area. It is then without surprise that last September Jean integrated the REEDS doctoral programme in Ecological Economics and Eco - innovation. The aim of his work here is to research on the opportunities to build institutional and financial "value loops" which will internalize opportunities for circular economics. Before joining the REEDS team, Jean worked for over six years with several companies in California (US) and Chile in positions where he was responsible for supply chain and operational management, and finance controlling. He has also been a Lecturer of Economics and Project evaluation in the University of Tarapaca in Chile, where he has been course tutor for the Bachelor in Corporate Management.
