Worksite

A worksite limit the evaluation scope and may have zero to many dependant objects of these types:

• direct children objects:
  • KRR
  • DM type 1
  • DM type 2
  • indirect grandchildren objects:
    • KRR - DM type 3
    • KRR - K4U

The worksite profile is very light and contains no key feature field:

• Title
• Description
• Community, this selection list put permission boundaries to the object, so only member of the Community selected here will be able to see the Worksite.
• Fruitlink, this field exists in all ePLANETe object's profile. It is a non required multiple field that contains title and URL of an ePLANETe or external resource.

Create, modify, delete a Worksite

Any member of a Community with "production" permissions may create a Worksite. Then it become the owner of the object and the only one that can modify its profile.

Use the "Add content / Worksite" main menu option to create a new Worksite.

Only the Gallery master may delete a Worksite. This is because many contributors(Knowledge carriers' participants, Stakeholders' participants) may be interested by the evaluations dependant of the Worksite. So the deletion process has been disable to avoid removing a lot of work by accident. When a parent object is removed the children remain in the Gallery. They are orpheans and may not work properly. If you want to remove a complete Worksite including its dependant you must do it manually. If you have enough permissions, edit each object and use "delete" button at the bottom of the screen. Start by the lower objects, grandchildren first, then children, then the Worksite. The crosslinks must be prefereably removed before an object's cancelation. If you have not enough rights, ask to the Gallery master or to the ePLANETe administrator.
