Du 01 au 03 mars 2015 à Bruxelles, le projet européen Environmental Justice Organisations, Liabilities and Trade (EJOLT) a tenu sa dernière assemblée générale en présence de tous les partenaires du Consortium et a présenté au "grand public" les principaux résultats de recherche ainsi que l'Atlas mondial des conflits environnementaux (EJ Atlas) qui comportent actuellement 1400 cas de conflits.

Sustainable Mobility is becoming an important subject on the international, national or local level. Low-Carbon vehicles and their mobility are one way to reduce carbon emissions in cities, to potentially improve air quality and well-being as well as growth and jobs, especially in Europe. Those new vehicles, unlike the Internal Combustion Engine automobile, whose economic model is based on sales to end consumers, often require new types of institutional arrangements, where local government plays an increasing role.

La thèse de Jean Pierre DOUSSOULIN, sous la direction du professeur Martin O'CONNOR, a comme objectif d’avancer sur le cadre conceptuel pour analyser et mesurer les services environnementaux de point de vue système biophysiques, analyse institutionnel et système de Valeur. Cette analyse nous permet de comprendre et profiter des opportunites d’economie circulaire aux échelles territorialles.

This workshop presented a wide spectrum of innovative sustainable projects in the frame of the Urban Living Lab (ULL), gathering the Urban Agglomeration of Saint Quentin-en-Yvelines (Communauté d’Agglomération de Saint Quentin en Yvelines – CASQY) and UVSQ Versailles Grand Parc. The workshop was organised by REEDS Research Centre , with support by FONDATERRA, and with the involvement of some of the UVSQ industrial chairs (like Campus Durable and Econoving). This was the opening session of the event, and offers perspective on this three-day event.

Quels sont les nouveaux paradigmes que sous-tendent le concept de Smartgrid ? Le Jeudi 08 Octobre 2012 au sein de l’Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin-En-Yvelines (UVSQ) s’est tenu une plénière regroupant des professionnels et chercheurs dans le domaine de l’énergie et de l’environnement autour du sujet « Smartgrids : nouveaux paradigmes ». Les intervenants ont pu exposer leurs visions et actions dans la gestion et l’utilisation optimale « intelligente » des différentes énergies au sein des territoires, des réseaux urbains.
