The conference SRMining (Social Responsibility in Mining) was held from 19 to 20 October 2011 in Santiago de Chile. Its objectives were to strengthen understanding of the concept of ‘social license’; to discuss the complexity of social issues faced by the mining industry at the local, regional, national and international context; to promote SR as an integral part of strategic planning and management, to discuss existing experience and practice, and share leading thinking; and to explore diverse and innovative ways to put research and policies into action

Le travail de thèse de Nabil TOUILI s’inscrit dans le cadre du projet européen THESEUS (FP7) et vise, par l'analyse intégrée, la mise en place d'outils de résilience et de mécanismes innovants d'arrimage des stratégies des risques.

Pour la troisième année consécutive, Jean-Marc DOUGUET a effectué une mission d’appui et d’enseignement, en collaboration avec Lucie Rabaovololona (Professeur à l'Université d'Antananarivo, Madagascar), dans le cadre de l’Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF). Elle s’est déroulée du 17/08/2011 au 27/08/2011. Elle s’est composée en (1) un enseignement dans le cadre du DESS « Analyse et politiques environnementales » du département d'économie, de gestion et de sociologie (DEGS) et, (2) un enseignement dans le DEA « Communication et Dynamique Locale » (CODYL).
