How should we design the territory? How should we optimise the transport offer? We are facing a global change of paradigm and we are now going to manage a transfer from “transport” to “mobility”. This means several things, such as “more services and multi-modality” – says Marie Francoise Guyonnaud, president of Fondaterra. A new “green car” has been developed with the company Vedecom, for exemple. Innovation can also mean new ideas for services.

One important question is “What are the (energy) initiatives at the local scale?” Facing the stakes of sustainability, certain orientations have to be taken into account. The French national framework for environmental policy (Grenelle de l’Environnement) is pushing for a strong decrease in C02 gas emission by 2020 -2030. At the regional scale, the SRCAE (1)(Schema Regional du Climat, de l’Air et de l’Energie) contributes to the project. In 2010, renewables energy represented two percent of total energies. By 2020, the goal will be 20%.
