Sustainable Mobility is becoming an important subject on the international, national or local level. Low-Carbon vehicles and their mobility are one way to reduce carbon emissions in cities, to potentially improve air quality and well-being as well as growth and jobs, especially in Europe. Those new vehicles, unlike the Internal Combustion Engine automobile, whose economic model is based on sales to end consumers, often require new types of institutional arrangements, where local government plays an increasing role.

Nidhal Ouerfelli, qui vient d'être nommé Secrétaire d'Etat chargé des Mines et Energie en Tunisie, est titulaire du Master Analyse Economique et Gouvernance du Risque et d'un doctorat (2007) en économie de l’Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin en Yvelines. Le sujet de sa thèse, sous la direction de Sylvie Faucheux (Ancienne Présidente de l'UVSQ et actuel rectrice de l'Académie de Dijon) a porté sur: « La prospective énergétique participative pour une énergie durable en Méditerranée ».

Multicriteria Assessments encompass a family of decision-making approaches used to evaluate problems with different alternatives, expectations and wants, in order to find the most ‘suitable’ solutions. MCAs deal with complex and unstructured problems invoved in decision making, mainly in the sphere of socio-environmental management and involving a number of conflicting ecological, social, political and economic objectives, multiple interests groups, and different languages of valuation. How can NGOs and community action groups use these methods to build their cases for justice?
