M. Dennis Wheeler donnera une conférence intitulée "Understanding the little Ice Age from Royal Navy ship's logbooks".

"Logbooks of ships from the age of sail survive in many European archives. Over recent years scientists have become aware of the important climatic record of wind and weather that these venerable documents contain, and are using them in climatic reconstructions. This presentation uses English Royal Navy logbooks from between 1680 and 1750 to show what huge benefits we can gain from their careful study. "
