Renewable energies, suitable to integrate electricity grids of middle and high tensions and to decentralize and diversify energy production portfolios, are considered as an optimal solution to tackle with major challenges in the 21st century. However, to benefit from low-carbon sources, energy systems will adopt new Smartgrid concept to distribute energy efficiently in decentralized networks of production and consumption, to be ‘self-healing’ or adaptive to changes and resilient to failures.
