Climate-KIC, the Knowledge and Innovation Community (KIC), is an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) to drive innovation in the area of climate change through integrated and creative partnerships between business, academic and public institutions. Launched in December 2009, just one week after the 15th session of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Conference of Parties in Copenhagen.

La thèse de Mateo CORDIER se centre sur l'étude des interactions entre le système économique et l'écosystème de l'estuaire de la Seine, un écosystème hautement anthropisé. Son travail vise une perspective holistique et cible, entre autre, la destruction des vasières et l’impact sur les stocks de poissons dans l’estuaire de la Seine. Le modèle input-output hybride développé permet d’apporter un éclairage quantitatif sur les acteurs et les ressources naturelles touchés par une altération de la fourniture de services écosystémiques (altération causée par l'économie ou des mesures politiques
